The only thing I ever get here is the pate bahn mi with everything. The spicy peppers with the pate and other veggies with the perfect thinly-crispy-on-the-outside-soft-as-a-cloud-on-the-inside bread. Judging on how they execute that, I never wait at those more trendy places.

The best smile in Chinatown is the service you get! Outstanding! This neighborhood gem has the most authentic banh mi for a low price! The bread is light and crispy! I happily had crumbs everywhere! Simple, fresh and delicious! I got the sardine, today!! I felt like I was in Saigon!

Needed some Banh Mi after a long flight & this was the closest place I could find to Union Station. It was a decent price & they had shredded tofu which was one of my favs. Plus the guy standing at the front was very jolly & silly. This place was definitely entertaining & a good pick me up in the afternoon.

Best banh mi spot in Chinatown and my new go-to spot before any dodgers game! I always get the special combo since I grew up eating. My wife got the grilled pork and both sandwiches were delicious, flavorful and fresh! The baguette was freshly made and wasn't stale like most places. Special combo was nearly perfection, next time I'd add extra pate as that was the only thing missing to complete the flavor profile. The workers were very friendly and welcoming. It's a hole in the wall gem!

I've been visiting this hidden gem for over a decade, and I can confidently say that their bánh mì remains some of the best I've ever had in Chinatown! The #1 option with cold cuts and Vietnamese-style meatloaf is incredibly flavorful. I might be mistaken, but I detect a lovely smoky note that elevates the entire sandwich. The bread is truly exceptional--fresh, soft on the inside, and perfectly crunchy on the outside. It's the ideal baguette to complement the vibrant fillings. Every bite is a delightful mix of textures and flavors that keeps me coming back for more. If you're in the area, you have to give this place a try!

5 stars based on taste only! This Bahn Mi place is a hole in the wall to go store/Bahn Mi shop. Unassumingly good. They have housemade pate to add to your Bahn Mi. Pate is a must!!! This is the closest true Bahm Mi ive tried away from Vietnam!!! I tried this place based on reviews. It did not disappoint. I tried Roast Pork and Cold Cut Bahn Mi both added pate. The cold cut reminded me of Vietnam flavors!!! The bread slightly chewing w a crisp crust!! Friendly owners!!

my favorite place to get banh mi in LA! location: chinatown right next to minon cake parking: metered, street parking or paid lots wait: this place is pretty popular during lunchtime hours. we waited about 15 mins for our order. what we ordered: #1 special ($6): the bread has a great texture: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. they put an adequate amount of filling. highly recommend if you're in chinatown. they even sell fruits and other snacks!

Tuesday early lunch at 10 am - #1 banhh mi dac biet, #10 Banh mi Bo nuong Service: friendly owner Ambiance: casual, a small store Price: good Food quality: phenomenal , fresh ingredients, unique Remarks: Cash only One of the best Banh places in town Highly recommended

Simple and affordable bahn mi. Great place to get a quick and cheap bite to eat if you're in Chinatown and don't mind getting food to go. Not gonna lie, the sandwiches are pretty sparse on the main filling, so most of the taste and enjoyment comes from the veggies and Vietnamese pickled carrots and daikon. I don't mind this since the veggies and bread are all fresh and pretty flavorful even without the main filling. I tried both the beef and the shredded tofu. Both were pretty good but I did enjoy the flavor of the beef and onion a bit more. In all a good deal at $6 each, cash only. Service is friendly too, which makes me want to return and try all the other flavors.

OMG!!! Well I loved the food so much! I don't know what to tell ya, but this is my goto next time I want a great Banh Mi! I hope you do too!! Maybe one day I'll go check out their brick and mortar restaurant!
